Is it a loaf? Is it a cake?
Kids love carrots, I love carrots. We all love cakes and don’t like ’em when they’re too sugary. Therefore this one here is the intersection.
I tried carrot cake a few years ago from a famed bakery house but I didn’t think it suit my palate because the taste was too sweet and the texture was coarse.
Today I try and make my own version: one with smoother carrot texture and less sugar, mixed with walnut and chocolate chips.
Now I wonder how it would be if I had it made with gluten-free flour and add some chia seeds into the mix. Oh and perhaps add marzipan too! Make it more festive! #nextbatch
